Ms. Amira Dawoud is the Business Development and Projects Manager at FinBi. Ms. Dawoud has been previously providing management roles since 2009. Ms. Dawoud has 20 years of professional experience in Management, Capacity Building, Career Guidance, TVET Reform, Youth Empowerment, and Governance. She established strong and long-lasting partnerships with private sector entities, international organizations, development partners, governmental officials, and policy makers. In 2003, she worked as a Business English Trainer working to qualify graduates and facilitate their transition to Employment. In 2009, she worked on a USAID project towards TVET reform focusing on career development and employability skills. In 2012, she managed the capacity building component in a regional World Bank project (ANSA-Arab World) in 7 Arab countries implemented by CARE International in Egypt. Ms. Dawoud joined the national EU-GoE TVET Egypt program in Feb 2016 aims at boosting the employability of youth. In 2019, she managed an employability project in CARE Egypt in partnership with Microsoft and Ministries of Youth and ICT and Education for enhancing students and youth’s digital and business skills while providing them with competitive employment opportunities. Recently, in December 2020, she joined FinBi to provide overall management and technical support to current running projects. Ms. Dawoud has a BA in English Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University and she is currently enrolled in a Global Management MBA in ESLSCA.
